Here's what we were working with - an old 150A panel that was packed full, visibly worn, and running out of room. Wiring crammed into every available space, breakers that had been there for years, and a setup that just wasn't built to handle the demands of a modern home. That's a pretty common story in older homes, and it's also a situation that doesn't fix itself.
We pulled the old panel and swapped it out for a brand new 200A meter panel combined with a 200A load center. Going from 150A to 200A service isn't just a numbers bump - it means the home now has real headroom. More circuits, more capacity for appliances, EV chargers, HVAC equipment, whatever the homeowner needs down the road. The system isn't just keeping up anymore, it's actually ahead of the demand.
The interior of the new Siemens meter panel shows clean, organized wiring with a solid 200A main breaker properly seated and connected. The conductors are routed correctly, the grounding is in place, and everything is installed to code. That kind of workmanship inside the panel matters just as much as how it looks from the outside.
What you end up with is a complete exterior electrical setup that's squared away, properly mounted, and built to last. The old cramped, deteriorating panel is gone. In its place is a system that gives this home a solid electrical foundation - safer, more efficient, and ready for whatever gets added to it.
Panel upgrades are one of those jobs where cutting corners has real consequences. We take these seriously because the work we do inside those boxes affects everything in the home. If your panel is old, maxed out, or you're not sure it can handle your load, it's worth having someone take a look.
