A lot of people assume getting a hot tub up and running is as simple as plugging it in. It's not. Hot tubs run on 240V and need dedicated circuits - one for the jets and lights, one for the heater. Without that setup done correctly, you're looking at tripped breakers, damaged equipment, or worse. That's exactly the kind of work we handle every week.

For this install, we ran conduit along the exterior of the home and tied everything into a properly sized subpanel mounted right at the house. Inside that panel, you've got separate breakers handling each load - a 30-amp circuit for the jets and lighting, and a 20-amp circuit for the heater. Each one labeled, each one dedicated. Nothing shared, nothing improvised.

The conduit work matters more than most people realize. We run it tight to the structure, properly supported, and routed in a way that keeps it protected and clean-looking. It's not just about getting power from point A to point B - it's about doing it in a way that holds up over time and passes inspection without a fight.

Code compliance isn't optional when water and electricity are this close together. Everything here is installed to NEC standards for spa and hot tub wiring, which includes proper grounding, the right wire gauges, and GFCI protection built into the breaker setup. That's what keeps you and your family safe every time you flip the switch.

This is the type of work where cutting corners has real consequences. We don't do that. Whether it's routing conduit around landscaping and pool equipment or wiring a subpanel cleanly so the next electrician who opens it actually knows what they're looking at - we take pride in doing it right the first time.
