Hot tubs don't just plug into a standard outlet. They need a dedicated 240v circuit - properly wired, correctly sized, and installed to code. That's the part most homeowners don't think about until the tub is already sitting in the backyard.

Here's what the electrical side of this job looked like. We ran conduit along the exterior wall and mounted a weatherproof disconnect box - clean, tight, and positioned exactly where it needed to be to serve the tub safely. The conduit run is neat and low-profile, which matters a lot on the side of a home that people actually see.

The disconnect box is a required part of any hot tub installation. It gives you a local shutoff point right next to the unit - critical for safety and required by the NEC. We don't skip steps on these jobs. Every connection, every conduit bend, every component gets done right because water and electricity demand it.

What you end up with is a hot tub that runs the way it's supposed to - no tripped breakers, no overloaded circuits, no guesswork. The tub itself is sitting on a solid paver pad, filled and ready to go. That's the whole point. The electrical work is what makes it possible.

A lot of companies will install the tub and hand off the wiring to whoever. We handle it all, and we do it properly. If you've got a hot tub waiting to be hooked up - or you're planning to get one - we can get the electrical side done the right way from the start.
